- Congratulations to Julian Faulkingham and Uriel Achilleus for successfully passing their 5F exams! These two worked very hard this year and set a new standard for exam performance. Welcome TDS’ newest fencers!
- Fall Picnic! Saturday, October 1st TDS will close the sala doors and congregate at Tower Grove Park for a day of food and fencing. 11am to 8pm, please feel free to stop by and say hello. - Congratulations to TDS Assistant Instructor Ryan Mank and CFS Co-Instructor Charles Dobbs on their Instructor At Arms certification (7/31) from the Fencing Pedagogy Program!
- Congratulations to TDS Assistant Instructor Ryan Mank for taking 1st place in both the Foil and Dueling Sword tournaments in Milwaukee this past weekend (4/9). This was an excellent event with great fencing all day. Special thanks to Sean Newton and the Marquette fencers for an excellent job.
- Congratulations to TDS and CFS fencers for their performance at the AHF Open Classical Tournament in West Palm Beach (3/26). Instructor Achilleus took 1st place in foil, 2nd place in sabre and 3rd place in epee; Instructor Mank took 2nd place in epee; all our fencers placed in the top 13 overall. Special thanks to Kim Moser for organizing a successful event.
- Congratulations to Marquette CFS fencers for their performance at the SUNY Purchase Classical Tournament this past weekend (3/19). Charles Dobbs took First place in the foil event and Third place in the sabre. Junior fencer Rosa Yeh took Third place in the junior foil event.
- Steven Clifton has been appointed as the TDS Armorer. Steven’s dedication to the sala and his infectious desire for swords make him particularly suited for this job.
- Please note that the fees for beginner course training are now $70 per month and the cost for University students is now a flat rate of $30 per month.
